REV. WILLIAM CALLAGAN, Senior Pastor
On August 16, 1975, he was gloriously saved by the power of the Holy Spirit of God. Shortly after his salvation, he felt the call of God upon his life. He withdrew his application for Med School and upon the completion of his studies; he attended Bible School in Anaheim, CA. Rev. Callagan believed Missions was God’s calling and his first missions’ assignment was to the country of Ireland. He ministered both in the North and the South of the country. Rev. Callagan served under an English Pastor and his wife during his assignment. In 1982, Clyde Shields, founder of Miracle Bible College in San Fernando, La Union asked him to teach a class to the seniors at the Bible College: Preparation for the Ministry. While on-staff and teaching, he met Rosalynda Teckney. She was also on staff of the Bible School; she was a young widow with 3 small children living at the college. After a period of time, they were married on February 14, 1983. Upon completion of the school year at Miracle, they moved to Tabuk, Kalinga to live near Mrs. Teckney-Callagans parents. Her father had been a Pastor for 40 years and was a blessed mentor for Rev. Callagan during the last years of Pastor Teckney’s life. The Callagans moved to California in 1988 as their family began to expand. Rev. Callagan was employed by the KFC Corp. in Louisville, KY but traveled to Kalinga frequently to preach. In 1995, they were re-located to Dallas by KFC and they took up residence at Christ for the Nations Bible School. Rev. Callagan worked, Mrs. Callagan attended the Bible School and the children attended the academy, provided on campus for the married students with children. As the children graduated and left home, Mrs. Callagan, herself, graduated from the advanced course at the School. Once again, in 2001, KFC re-located the Callagans, this time to Indianapolis, Indiana. While Rev Callagan worked, Mrs. Callagan assisted in nursing home-care in New Jersey. While in Indiana, Rev. Callagan developed several health issues. They both decided, at this time, to focus entirely on the ministry, especially their ministry in the Philippines, “His Almighty’s Ministries”, founded by Mrs. Callagan. While waiting to leave the U.S. and move full-time to the Philippines, they have served the local church at FRCI in Jersey City. Rev. Callagan has served as an associate Pastor and Mrs. Callagan as the Director of International Missions. |
